East Melbourne uPVC Double Glazed Casement Windows
The Challenge
The customer wanted to replace their old windows with casement windows to allow for increased ventilation and airflow. The aluminium track of their old windows became rusted and harder to slide up to open, even when they added grease.
The Solution
Winplex replaced the old existing frames with German-engineered uPVC Aluplast, which provided increased energy efficiency and were more secure than their old windows. The new casement windows were installed, which features 6mm double glazed glass to add security and increase energy efficiency in their home.
The Outcome
The customer was pleased with the new casement windows, which provide better ventilation as they can be opened fully on either side. This was in contrast compared to the old windows that were replaced, which had rusted and were difficult to open.
The customer said,
