West Melbourne uPVC Double Glaze Bifold Door
The Challenge
The client wanted a wider door than their standard traditional backdoor. They also wanted more sunlight in their home.
The Solution
Winplex replaced the old existing frames with German-engineered uPVC Aluplast for increased energy efficiency and easy maintenance. The original door frame was widened by cutting parts of the back wall. The new bifold door was installed, which features 6mm double glazed glass to add security and increase energy efficiency in their home.
The Outcome
The customer was happy with the new contemporary bifold door, which keeps their home cool in the summer due to preventing air from escaping. The new bifold door also increased the amount of sunlight coming into the home. This allowed the customer to save money on electricity bills since artificial lighting was not needed until after sunset.
